GoldWin ViP Tournaments

What are Casino Tournaments?

Casino Tournaments a fun way to compare your game play and skills to your peers! In addition to normal casino winnings you can also compete for a prize pool.

There are two types of tournaments; Classic and Ticket-based tournaments. Simply play the eligible game or games included in the tournament and your success will be measured against that of others playing in the casino. All the time you can check out your progress on the Leaderboard in real time.

How to I compete in a Tournament?

Classic: In this type of tournament simply requires you to login, play for real (and not “for fun”) in the relative game or games during the time that the tournament is running.

Ticket: Ticket-based tournaments are similar to the kind of tournament you find in online Poker. In order to take part in this type of tournament you will have to purchase a ticket and in return will receive a sum of “Tournament Money” with which to play.

Unless otherwise stated the minimum number of rounds to qualify is 100. This is an overall figure, so if more than one game included in the tournament the game rounds can be spread over more than one game.

Who is the winner? (Scoretype)

The winner is the player with the highest score at the end of the tournament. The number of game rounds may be taken into consideration in the event of a tie.

Winnings will be automatically credited to your account.

GoldWin ViP uses the following systems to classify tournament winners:

Highest Overall Net Win= Total amount won – Total amount bet.

Best Equalized Payout = Highest average winnings per bet. Where quality, not quantity counts!

Best 20 Consecutive Rounds = Highest net win of 20 successive rounds. The system keeps track of which sequence of 20 rounds gives the best Win – Bet, and then calculates the score.

Best equalized payout factor for 20 consecutive rounds = The player with the highest average (Win / Bet) for 20 game rounds played in succession wins.

How are prizes distributed?

Prizes are distributed in a variety of ways. See individual tournament page for more details.

Can I see how I am doing?

When a tournament is taking place you will see the leaderboard on the tournament page. The leaderboard shows the current top players for your comparison:

The players’ names are presented in one of two colours:
Red – Player has not completed the minimum rounds required.
Black – Player who has completed the minimum rounds required.

When do you run tournaments?
